Sting vs Hulk Hogan?

Will It Happen? Who Will Win?

WWE's Breakout Diva... Kaitlyn!

The polls just closed on my Hottest Diva challenge. No surprise, Kelly Kelly won! But the real surprise, at least to me, was that there was a tie for second, and it was between Maryse (who I thought was the obvious second choice) and the shocker, a rookie Diva who just won NXT season 3... Kaitlyn! I will agree she is very hot, and I thought it was a great angle when Dolph Ziggler was cheating on Vickie with her, but then they just dropped that storyline and she disappeared. I thought that was a mistake, and judging by the poll results I think most of you must have too! Well I didn't know to much about her so I had to do some research. Here is what I found out...

Celeste Beryl Bonin (born October 7, 1986) is an American model and professional wrestler, better known by her ring name Kaitlyn. She is working for WWE, where she is assigned to the SmackDown brand and also competes in their developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling. She won the third season of NXT.

Greatest Era Champion... Stone Cold Steve Austin

The poll just closed for Greatest Era Champion... and the winner is... Stone Cold Steve Austin!

Austin was representing the era of the 90s, while Hulk Hogan was representing the 80s, and John Cena was representing the present. Austin won with 60% of the poll votes.

As a result, here is a quick bio and a few pics of the winner...

Steve Austin (born Steven James Anderson, later and formerly Steven James Williams; December 18, 1964), better known by his ring name "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, is an American film and television actor and retired professional wrestler currently signed to WWE. Austin wrestled for several well-known wrestling promotions such as World Championship Wrestling (WCW), Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and most famously, the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), which later became World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2002. Billed as "The Most Popular Superstar in WWE History", he gained significant mainstream popularity in the WWF during the mid-to-late 1990s as "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, a disrespectful, beer-drinking antihero who routinely defied his boss, Vince McMahon. This defiance was often shown by Austin flipping off McMahon and incapacitating him with the Stone Cold Stunner, his finishing move. McMahon inducted Austin into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009. Austin is also known for his love of beer, especially Busch.

Austin held nineteen championships throughout his professional wrestling career, and is recognized by WWE as a six-time World Champion, having held the WWF Championship on six occasions, and the fifth Triple Crown Champion. He was also the winner of the 1996 King of the Ring tournament, as well as the 1997, 1998 and 2001 Royal Rumbles. He was forced to retire from in ring competition in early 2003 due to a series of knee and neck injuries sustained throughout his career. Throughout the rest of 2003 and 2004, he was featured as the Co-General Manager and "Sheriff" of Raw. Since 2005, he has continued to make occasional appearances. In 2011, Steve Austin returned to WWE to host the reality series Tough Enough.

john cena vs the miz

The Miami Herald caught up with The Miz. During their conversation, the Miz talked about some of the trials and tribulations he went through first breaking into WWE. Here is what he said about his early WWE up comings.

“I went to Ohio Valley Wrestling [in Louisville] to learn more,” Miz said following his Tough Enough run. You go to different schools to learn different things.

Finally I got brought up to be the Ryan Seacrest of WWE. They wanted me to host Friday Night Smackdown and host of the Diva Search. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted, but I knew if they gave me the microphone, I could get a character over and show people who I am.

“After six months of doing that, they said, ‘You’re going to start wrestling.’ I said, ‘Wow.’ I went undefeated for almost six months.

“After I started losing, I started losing a lot. Literally everyone thought I was going to be future endeavored [released]. Nobody liked me in the locker room. I got kicked out of the locker room. No one likes a person who comes from a reality background and comes to WWE and thinks they can do it.

WWE Family Feud

What could be one of the greatest family feuds in wrestling history... The Rhodes Family vs The DiBiase Family! The American Dream Dusty Rhodes is a Hall Of Fame wrestler. The  Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase is a Hall Of Fame wrestler. Both have sons currently wrestling in the WWE. They started out as Tag Team Champions and part of Randy Orton's group called Legacy. This was a team of 2nd and 3rd generation wrestlers. Clearly they are all destined for greatness. But i think the WWE is finally starting to put them against each other and revive a feud that has gone on for literally generations!

I think Ted Jr. should bring back the Million Dollar Championship Belt, which was given to him by his father. He did wrestle with it briefly, and ironically lost it to Cody Rhodes' older brother Dustin Rhodes aka Goldust! I believe Goldust was dating Aksana at the time, they were about to get married on NXT and she wanted the Millon Dollar Belt, so Goldust won it for her. At the wedding, Goldust was there, as was Dusty and Cody. However, I think they ruined that whole storyline, Ted took the belt back, and stopped using it.

That was the end of the family feud. However, since Ted's career has fallen apart, and Cody's took off, WWE put them back together and have them fighting over Cody's Intercontinental Championship! Well I think they should bring all the pieces back together... Have Ted come out with the Million Dollar Belt. He could challenge Cody title for title. Maryse used to manage Ted but she has been gone for months due to surgery. Well bring her back as Ted's manager. Find a way to bring in Aksana as Cody's new girl because WWE is wasting this hot girl by having her backstage trying to seduce Teddy Long. She could be with Cody now. That would upset his brother Goldust who would get involved. Then it is only a matter of time before both fathers are getting involved. Suddenly you have Cody vs Ted, with two unbelievable hot girls, Maryse and Aksana, you throw in two legendary championship belts, a legend like Goldust and then on top of that you have two hall of fame fathers getting involved.

This leaves openings for Mixed Tag matches. Father and Son Tag Team Matches. Goldust could get involved in any number of ways. It could be huge!

WWE Edits A Major Bloodbath Off SmackDown!

Best Pic I Could Find
As noted earlier this week here on WrestlingINC.com, Randy Orton caused Cody Rhodes to heavily bleed on SmackDown! following an errant shot to the head with the ring bell. Cameras quickly cut to close-up shots of Orton's face, with Rhodes' back only being visible for the remainder of the segment. Personnel covered Rhodes' head with a towel before Orton struck him with an RKO on the broadcast table.

The replay, however, showed blood streaming from the back of Rhodes' head. According to fans in attendance at Tuesday's taping, pools of bloods were scattered around the ring following the segment. They did a hell of a job editing that as it was said to have been brutal on Tuesday night at the TV tapings.

WWE Network... Free WWE PPVs

As noted yesterday, WWE issued a survey yesterday regarding their planned WWE Network launch next year to select mailing list subscribers. The survey suggests that WWE's "classic big 4" pay-per-view events would be included in the channel at no additional cost. You can check it out below:

Imagine a 24-hour cable network that was run by The WWE. It featured a mix of WWE-made programs, including new shows, repeats of Raw and SmackDown from USA and Syfy and "classic" or "historical" programs featuring shows from different promotions like classic WWE footage, WCW, ECW, NWA, AWA, etc. from years past.

It would have two new weekly WWE live in-ring shows (wrestling), but not SmackDown or Raw.

It would have a daily live in-studio viewer interactive show similar to SportsCenter.

Additionally, this network would include WWE's "classic big 4" pay-per-view events including WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series and Royal Rumble to the lineup at no additional cost. Rather than having to pay for them, they would now be specials with the same match quality you're used to seeing on pay-per-view for no additional cost. These 4 events would only be available on The WWE Network.

In addition to The WWE Network, you would receive approximately 30 additional channels including NFL Network, NBA TV, Biography Channel, Fox Business Network and Fuel TV.

How interested would you be in upgrading your service for an additional $7-$12 per month to a tier which would include the WWE Network described above?

Stacy Keibler Finally Speaks About Clooney!

Former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler has spoken for the first time on her relationship with actor George Clooney.

She told People Magazine: "I was just living in the moment. I was actually not really searching for a boyfriend. I don't think about [the future]. I live in the present moment. That was my New Year's resolution … and it's worked out pretty good so far."

Kevin Nash is a Male Stripper!

NYMag.com now confirms that Kevin Nash has been added to the cast of the male-stripper movie Magic Mike.

The website wrote: "Magic Mike continues to expand its beefcake roster. Now WWE Legends wrestler Kevin Nash has signed on for Steven Soderbergh's male stripper extravaganza, perhaps adding some gruffness to the cast that includes Channing Tatum, Adam Rodriguez, Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer, Joe Mangianello, and the king of beefcakes, Matthew McConaughey."

Steve Austin Ranks Current WWE Superstars!

Steve Austin spoke to Power Slam to promote his latest movie, Tactical Force. The discussion turns to present-day WWE and he is asked to name which wrestlers he believes can evolve into "money-drawing players" for the sports-entertainment organization. CM Punk heads the top of the list.

"Well, I love CM Punk. That guy is already a star, and he's just breathed a much-needed breath of fresh air into the wrestling business," Austin said.

"He's been working for over ten years. I'm a big fan of his—love his skills, love his promos."

The WWE Hall of Famer then mentions Wade Barrett, Daniel Bryan and the current Superstar most often compared to him, Randy Orton. Austin, however, feels "The Viper" still needs to work on his character and promo ability.

"Of the other guys, I'm still waiting for Wade Barrett to grab me by the throat and let me know who Wade Barrett is. Daniel Bryan could continue to move up the card," Austin said. "I'm interested to see where Randy Orton goes next. His promos need work, and right now, he's a little one-dimensional. The crowds are digging him, but there's still another step on the ladder for him to climb to."

Austin also feels that Alberto Del Rio needs to work on his promos.  "Alberto Del Rio reminds me of Gino Hernandez from the old [Dallas] Sportatorium. [He is] another one who needs to work on his promos-I don't like them worth a s--t right now-but he has great ability," said Stone Cold.

"He just needs to add a few pieces to the puzzle."

Austin is also high on two SmackDown! talents, including the newly crowned World Heavyweight Champion.
"Christian is a hell of a performer in the ring, and he's just had a hell of a run. He's recently added a few exclamation points to his work and his promo style-but, again, there's at least one more level for him to step up," he feels.

"Mark Henry has finally put the pieces together. His Money in the Bank match with Big Show was not a great match in the ring. But I love the intensity Mark is putting into his work recently. This persona is really an extension of himself: he's a big, mean, strong man, and they are presenting that well."

Orton responded to Austin's remarks this evening on Twitter. He wrote, "Austin is right, there is still room for me to move up the ladder. And I will. Watch me."

Big Boss Man

Thursday marked the anniversary of the death of former WWE star Ray "Big Boss Man" Traylor, who passed away on September 22, 2004 at his home in Acworth, Georgia due to a heart attack. He was just 41 years old.

Former WWE Diva Terri Runnels posted a message on Twitter remembering Traylor, her longtime traveling partner.

She wrote, "The anniversary of the passing of Big Bossman…my best friend, brother, father and yes, girlfriend! I miss you Ray!"
