Is Brock Lesnar The "Prophet" Returning On Jan 2nd?

Brock Lesnar
Now that Brock Lesner has officially retired from UFC on December 30th, that is just in time for the "Prophet" who is scheduled to return to the WWE on January 2nd, which would be just in time for the Royal Rumble, which could put him into the main event of Wrestlemania.

Most speculation has been around Chris Jericho being the "Prophet" but that was when Brock Lesnar was still in UFC and had a chance to go for the title. But now that he lost the match and did not get his title shot he announced his retirement and has walked away from the UFC just in time. But how could the WWE have known he would lose and retire before the deadline stated in the promos? Some rumours have already said Brock knew he was going to lose and retire afterwards, some have even said he threw the fight. Personally, I think Brock is too competitive to throw a fight, however I do think he had to know going into the fight what his chances were of winning. He knew he wasn't 100% and not in any condition to make another run at the title. I think he was already exploring other options now that his UFC paydays are over. He already worked out a deal with the WWE to be in their newest game WWE 12 and that's when talks of his WWE return started. He has never denied them, only saying that his UFC career would have to be over and the right match would have to come up. Well his UFC career is now over and the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania are coming up. Those would be two huge paydays for Brock, and he could put a better end on his WWE career.

The part of those promos that confused me was the fact that there was a girl with him and she made it sound like she was coming back with him. Well Brock's wife is former WWE Diva Sable. Is it possible that Brock and Sable are going to be returning to the WWE on Monday?

CHRIS
Crossed Out?
People have also pointed out that the name Chris was on the cover of the book. So that would make people think it was Chris Jericho. However, the name Chris was actually crossed out. So maybe that is their way of saying it will NOT be Chris Jericho. Almost as if it was going to be him, but that idea has been crossed out. That would explain why Chris Jericho has been so furious and denying all the questions about the rumours. He keeps saying he will never wrestle again and that he will never come back to the WWE again. It sounds like he is either trying to throw us off the trail, or he is really mad at the WWE and has walked away for good. It was said that he was very upset when they left him out of the WWE 12 game. It cost him at least 5 figures in royalties and he has been bitter ever since. Conveniently, WWE did put Brock in the game instead. That kind of tells me that the WWE is currently on better terms with Brock than they are with Jericho.

I don't know, I may be putting my foot in my mouth here, Jericho has been the obvious answer all along. But the timing just seems to fit with Brock, the part with the girl even fits, and he is in WWE 12 and Jericho isn't. I am going to possibly make a huge fool of myself right now, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the "Prophet" is not Chris Jericho but rather Brock Lesner!

Do you Agree or Disagree? What do you think?

I think who ever it is will win the Royal Rumble and go on to main event Wrestlemania with CM Punk for the WWE Championship. So who would make the best opponent for CM Punk? I think the GTS vs the F5 would be pretty cool. But then again, CM Punk has recently started referring to himself as "the best in the world" while Chris Jericho always refereed to himself as being "the best in the world at what I do" so maybe this will be the match to find out once and for all who is the "best."

On top of all that, Stone Cold Steve Austin has said publicly that he has one match left in him and he wants it to be against CM Punk. Could Stone Cold Steve Austin be the "Prophet" or is that just wishful thinking?

I know its all hard to believe, but this has been the year of the comeback, the year of the return in the WWE. We have seen the return of Kevin Nash, Booker T, Mick Foley, The Rock, Masked Kane, Triple H, and at Wrestlemania we will hopefully see one last return of The Undertaker.

Would it be too much to think that maybe we could also see the return of either Chris Jericho, or Brock Lesnar (and maybe Sable), or Stone Cold Steve Austin?
