The UK Sun recently interviewed former WWE Diva Trish Stratus, here are some highlights from the interview:
On returning for a match with Beth Phoenix:
"A match with Beth would be pretty amazing! I think she's just awesome in the ring. As a fan, stepping out of Trish the performer, I'd like to see myself and Beth Phoenix. With all the teases we've had along the way, to have a one-on-one match would be awesome. I'd love to work her. That's definitely on my bucket list."
If she could return to the ring:
"I've got a lot in me. I really do. Physically I'm at my best. One of the key things that made me leave was the fact that my body was just beat, but at this point I'm healthy and strong. I feel I could go back and take the beatings — and then some. I always leave the door open, because you never know. It sounds so cliché, but if the right opportunity presented itself I would obviously take advantage of it."
Heat with John Morrison:
"When it came down to it, he just had no interest in working with me. The fact is that I was invited to come back and this is what we were given to do. This was our task — to perform at WrestleMania and at a Raw match the following evening.
"I had a word with him afterwards. There was the famous 'cold shoulder' moment. You win a tag match and when they raise your hand your partner walks away from you. You can have your personal feelings, that's no problem, but when you're performing you're performing for the fans. All your energy is for the fans and it should never be a personal thing.
"I just thought that if we'd had this conversation a couple of weeks earlier — and not after the fact — things could have been different. When it first got proposed that John Morrison would be my partner I was super-excited. I thought we could create some really cool things. It never happened but you don't miss what you never had."

Rock Responds To His WWE Backstage Critics
Numerous WWE workers were giddy backstage over John Cena's pseudo-shoot tirade toward Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson on Monday's Raw SuperShow since many share similar real-life sentiments. Those disgruntled are upset with Johnson being prominently featured at WrestleMania XXVIII since he is not a full-time performer and is taking away a prime spot that could be used to elevate an up-and-comer.
Based on reports and speculation of Johnson having "heat" within WWE circles, a Twitter user asked the actor/wrestler, "Haters claim you're keeping them from wrestling at 'Mania and they can't get over. Why couldn't they get over when you were gone?" Johnson, who is well aware of his critics backstage, responded Wednesday night, "The ones who are complaining are the ones who will never get over anyway, Too busy complaining."
Following Monday's Raw in Minneapolis, Minnesota, one WWE worker aired out his grievances toward Johnson via text to PWInsider (with permission to be quoted under the condition of anonymity): "[Johnson] comes in to use WWE to get back the audience he lost doing Disney movies, which is fine but he's been back over a year and name one person he helped make a bigger star since then? No one.
"He's here for himself, he keeps to himself, and he keeps someone who's actually touring here all year from making a bigger payday at the bigger shows. It's all about making this the "biggest" Mania of all time. OK, then what do we do the rest of the year? Who's been made? You think he took ANY blame for Survivor [Series] not drawing? Of course not, but how do you feud with a guy on the Titantron? Cena nailed the guy dead on tonight.
"Say anything about HHH, Taker, etc. still being in the top spot but if they were needed to work the road, they would and they would still work their asses off as much as they needed to. Rock is out for Rock and the idea he's here to better anything but his own wallet is the biggest work of 2012."
Lance Storm was asked on his Twitter what his thoughts were on the Rock's return. Storm wrote, "I got bumped off Mania 19 for Miller Light Girls anyone b---hing about getting bumped down the card 4 THE ROCK needs to Shut up"

Brian Kendrick Gone?
Brian Kendrick has been removed from TNA Wrestling's roster page on ImpactWrestling.com. This would indicate that he has parted ways with the company.
Kendrick's second TNA run culminated with him capturing the X Division Championship from Abyss last July at Destination X. After dropping the title to Austin Aries at No Surrender, he failed in his attempt to regain the belt at Bound for Glory. He had only competed in one televised match since then.

Gail Kim Interview
TNA Knockouts and Knockouts Tag Team Champion Gail Kim was recently interviewed.
On when she realized she wanted to be a wrestler:
I knew when I was 23. I knew when I was so hooked on watching wrestling and I saw the likes of Trish Stratus, Victoria, Molly, Jazz etc. What they now call the golden era of women's wrestling. I watched them and thought, "Hey! I can do that! I also thought, there are no Asian women. I can be that person."
On which culture she relates to the most:
I definitely always describe myself as Korean-Canadian. I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada so that's mostly what I knew growing up socially. But my parents spoke to me in Korean mostly and raised my sister, and I in a traditional Korean household. I can honestly say I relate to both cultures. I definitely feel like I want to explore and learn my Korean heritage a lot more.
On leaving WWE:
I've talked about this many times up to this point, which I don't mind but I think the fans and myself have moved on from this topic. To clarify, that was not the reason why, there were many reasons why including some disrespectful situations and the way women were treated; so I decided to move on. I did, and I'm happier than ever and I will never know reasons why so I choose not to worry about that anymore. I can only look forward and try to do positive things from now on. Impact Wrestling has been home for me and it's just been a confidence building, pro female wrestling environment. I feel like I don't have to limit myself anymore.

Hernandez Leaving TNA?
After speaking to a source within TNA, I can confirm that a former TNA Tag Team champion’s contract is up this Wednesday at midnight with the wrestler becoming a free agent. Dixie Carter is said to be pushing for the talent to re-sign with the company but due to TNA not offering them the same wage as their old contract, they are very likely to be leaving the company next week.
TNA cannot release the name of the talent in question until after the contract expires, but I have the name here already... it is TNA Wrestler Hernandez!

Happy Birthday Ric Flair!
TNA Star And Wrestling Legend Ric Flair, born Richard Fliehr on February 25, 1949 is celebrating his 63rd birthday today. A big happy Birthday to Ric Flair!
Smackdown WTF?
So on a special "Super" Smackdown, live on Tuesday night, they decided to have another Champion vs Champion match, CM Punk vs his friend Daniel Bryan. After their first match on Raw bombed in the ratings they decided to have an even worse one on Smackdown? This time it had the shitty double pin-fall finish. Now nobody knows who really won. Better question, does anybody care?
Sting: "I'm Done"
After Bobby Roode attacked Sting at the end of last week's Impact and left him bloody in the middle of the ring, Sting went on Twitter and sent out a short Tweet that simply read: "I'm Done" leaving most fans suspecting that he was stepping down as the head of TNA and retiring from wrestling once and for all.
Well those rumours were ended on this week's Impact when Sting confronted Bobby Roode. It turns out what Sting meant by his Tweet was that he was done putting up with Bobby Roode's bullshit. Sting removed the sunglasses and put on the face-paint. He then challenged Roode to a match at Victory Road and swore he would put an end to him once and for all.
But why would Sting rather face Bobby Roode in TNA than the Undertaker in the WWE? |
