TNA Against All Odds 2012 Results

One of the better PPVs TNA has done since Sting took over running the company, but still a shitty disappointing ending. Eventually they need to give the audience what it wants or they are going to lose their audience all together.

Jesse Sorensen was badly injured by Zema Ion in the opening match.  Link: Jesse Sorensen Injury Report

Robbie E successfully defended his Television Championship against Shannon Moore.

Gail Kim retained her Knockouts Championship as I predicted against Tara. Is it just me or (and not to sound rude or sexiest) but women's wrestling very boring and predictable. Before anyone gets mad, I'm not saying the Divas and Knockouts do not have talent, I am just saying the people booking their matches in the back do not give them very much to work with. They have like two storylines and they use them over and over, and each one takes about 6 months. So when a woman's champion is crowned you know she is going to keep that title for 6 months and the matches will be kept short and simple. Why not give them more of an opportunity. Mickie James had an amazing steel cage match in the main event of Impact one week. Beth Phoenix and Natalya in the WWE have been asking to have a ladder match but management wont allow it. I think the powers that be should let them fight!

Samoa Joe and Magnus defeated Matt Morgan and Crimson to become the new TNA Tag-Team Champions. Of course they pinned Morgan to keep Crimson's undefeated streak alive.

Austin Aries defeated Alex Shelley to retain his X-Divisions Championship.

Hulk Hogan refereed to Eric Bischoff's son Garrett as "the future of the business" but then he tapped out to Gunner as Hogan was about to literally throw in the towel... what a joke!

The main event. TNA Championship. Fatal Four Way. Champion Bobby Roode, Jeff Hardy, James Storm, and Bully Ray. Well it was a horrible main event as expected. Ray and Storm were after thoughts. It was just between Roode and Hardy. Sting was the outside enforcer. The referee was of course knocked out. Sting got in the ring and took the belt away from Roode before he could use it on Hardy. But when Sting went to hit Roode with the belt, Roode ducked and Sting knocked out Hardy. Sting then had to count as Roode pinned Hardy to retain his TNA Championship! Horrible!
